Behavior Based Safety

Behavioral safety observations are a growing trend in effective safety programs. The Behavior Based Safety Module is an easy to use web based application that allows you to collect and analyze observation data. RCI’s BBS Module is fully customizable, allowing you to choose what behaviors to analyze. You also have the ability to build custom observation forms based on different facility types. (See Checklist Administration and Behavior Safety Requirements)

Locations will complete the Behavior Safety Observation form built by corporate users.

Add New Observation

  1. Click on Applications
  2. Select Behavior Safety




    1. Select location
    2. Choose checklist type if multiple are available
    3. Select employee / observer
    4. Select task from drop down box or type a new choice in the text box
    5. Enter date and time information
    6. Complete the survey
    7. Add comments if desired
    8. Remember to save the form


Edit and Delete Behavior Safety Observations

  1. Click on Applications
  2. Select Behavior Safety



  1. On the 1st of each month the required & completed obsevations count is reset.
  2. Select location & set date parameters. Press the [Go] button
  3. Press to edit observation
  4. Press to delete observation

Review Behavior Safety Observations

  1. Click on Applications
  2. Select Behavior Safety
  3. Click the  button next to the observation
  4. Review the observation. If you approve, click the  [Mark as Reviewed] button
  5. The Reviewed column will indicate reviewer and date of review
