Driver File Express
The Driver File Express (DFE) module acts as a central repository for all your Driver Qualification Files. The application gives you instant information on the status of all drivers in your organization. First, you will need to enroll each driver and input their personal data.
Note: It is also possible to enroll drivers, manage driver qualification forms, inactivate/activate drivers, and view the Overview Report from the Applications and Administration tabs.
- Click on Administration
- Move cursor down to Programs (C)
- Move cursor over to Driver Files Administration
- Click on Driver Files Administration

- Click on Applications
- Select Driver Files Express
This is the “home” page for DFE Administration.
Enrolling a New Driver
Important: A driver can only be enrolled if they are already a user / employee. See Add New User or Employee.

- Select driver’s name from the “Employees not already enrolled:” drop down box.
- Click

- Enter driver data in the appropriate fields
- Click Update to save changes
Driver Qualification Forms
- Click
next to the driver’s name to access their Driver Qualification Forms
- Open each form by clicking on the underlined form name
- Obtain signatures, information, copies, etc from your drivers
- Upload the completed forms for each driver by clicking
- Then browse for the document, give it a friendly name, and click upload.

- Delete an uploaded document by clicking
the button next to the file name
- Multiple documents can be uploaded to each section on this page
Driver Qualification Forms Checklist

The Driver Files Express home page has a checklist of forms on hand for each driver. The Red areas indicate a form has not been obtained. Manage this checklist by clicking the button next to the driver’s name. You’ll notice any uploaded documents are also available here.
Inactivating a Driver
A driver can be inactivated. This is very useful for seasonal or part time drivers. The driver’s information will remain saved in the application. However, the driver’s name will not appear in active driver lists.
- Click the
button to edit the driver’s profile
- Press the delete button at the bottom of the page
- Select “yes” when the pop up asks for confirmation
Activating a Driver
- Make sure the
Show Inactive box on the DFE home page is selected
- All inactive drivers will be listed with (Inactive) under their name in the list of drivers
- Click the
button next to the driver you wish to activate
- Press the Undelete button at the bottom of the page
Driver Overview Report
- Click
to see a Compliance Overview for each location and driver
