Details specific to incident types can be customized to fit a company's needs. Corporate users can edit investigation requirements, Header/Label names, and lists of basic cause options.
Note: This will change existing, new, closed, etc... incidents and investigations. Keep in mind this may alter previously closed investigations.
Click on Administration tab
Scroll down to Programs ( C )
Click on Incident Administration
Select Incident Form Administration
Click on the [View] button to edit an incident type.
Rename form if desired
Type form instructions if needed
Make selections based on company preferences and incident type
If 'Require Corrective Actions' is marked an investigation can not be closed if no corrective actions exist
If 'Require all Corrective Actions be closed' is marked an investigation can not be closed if corrective actions are still open
If 'Root Cause Explanation' is marked it requires Root Cause Explianations text box to be filled out before an investigation can be closed
'Require a Review/Comment before closing' requires at least one comment before an investigation can be closed
Decide if 'Investigation is needed for this incident type'
Enter 'Max days to close investigation' - the default number is 30 days
If 'Can choose policies and tasks associated with incidents' is selected a list of policies and tasks are available on the investigation form and users can associate an incident to a specific policy or task
Select the lowest role that can close and investigation
Rename Header/Label text if desired
Manage the basic causes available per incident type. The default is all conditions and behaviors selected in Root Cause Administration
