Home > Applications > The Home Page

The Home Page

The first page you see will be your own “Home” page. It should say Welcome with your name. Under your name it will say “Web Applications Site for (your company name)" on the left side of the page. Example (click image to see a larger picture):

Above the Welcome, there is a “Home” link. When you are elsewhere in this application, click on Home if you want to come back to this page.

Applications

To the right of “Home” link is the “Applications” link. Run your cursor over the Applications drop down list and click on any application you want to use.

 ALERTS!! with a bright red background are under the Dashboard.

ALERTS!! are important messages that someone within your company sends or they may be automatically generated from one of the applications. Alerts can also come from someone within RCI providing information. The arrows in front of ALERTS!! allows you to hide or show the list of alerts.

There are 4 different alert priorities and their symbols:

  1. Must Acknowledge - Red Exlamation Point  
  2. High Priority - Rotating Circle
  3. Normal Priority Alert  - Gold Star
  4. Low Priority Alerts - Green Star

Clicking on the symbol next to the Alert will automatically delete the Alert message. Be sure to read your alerts before clicking on the symbol.

The upper right-hand corner of your “Home” page lists your company name and today’s date. Your name is in red under the date. Click on your name if you want to edit your personal information, such as First Name, Last Name or email address. You can also change your password or other contact information.

Click on “Manage Password” if you want to change your password. Enter your current password and then enter your new password 2 times. At the bottom of the page you must click on “Change Password”.

Click on Manage Profile if you want to change any of your contact information. After you make changes, be sure to click on "update" at the bottom of the page and save your changes.

Next to your name is a Logout button that you can click to logout of the application at any time.

There is another link right under the logout button that tells you exactly where you are in the application (i.e. Applications, Coffee Break Training).

There is a HELP tab under the logout link that you can click on from anywhere in the application. It pops up a window with a Table of Contents so you can find a subject you need help with.
